Kalthar was the shaman who informed Thrall about the strange time funnel or anomaly.[citation needed] Since it would take something catastrophic to call Kalthar to Orgrimmar, Thrall dispatched Brox and Gaskal to investigate it.
Kalthar apparently remained in Orgrimmar, as he was at Thrall's side when Rexxar brought a wounded orc — the first victim of Zmodlor's Burning Blade cult — to the city a few years later.[citation needed]
