Flame Shock is one of the three Shock spells available to Shaman. This is considered the most mana-efficient shock, owing to the higher total damage when the DoT is added.

Notes[]
- Rank 6 is trained from Tablet of Flame Shock VI, a drop from the Pyroguard Emberseer in Upper Blackrock Spire. The Tablet can be purchased from the Auction House.
- Flame Shock's spell damage co-efficients are 14.95% for its instant damage and 52.09% for its periodic damage (13.02% per tick).
Improvements[]
- Convection reduces its cost by 2/4/6/8/10%.
- Concussion increases its damage by 1/2/3/4/5%.
- Reverberation reduces the cooldown of all Shock spells by 0.2/0.4/0.6/0.8/1 second.
- Elemental Fury increases the critical strike damage bonus to its instant damage by 100%.
Tips and tactics[]
Refreshing Flame Shock early will overwrite the DoT, causing you to lose any remaining periodic damage of the previous Flame Shock.
Like all DoT spells, Flame Shock can be used to prevent rogues from stealthing during combat.
This spell scales very poorly with Spell Damage, and usually is not worth using outside of PvP combat.
