Divine Hymn[]
Divine Hymn is a rarely used, but critical spell for any Priest, no matter their spec. It causes 10% increased healing to the raid, and heals the 3 lowest targets for substantial amounts each tick during an extended channel. This can easily turn any wipe around, although it has an 8 minute cooldown and consumes quite a bit of mana.
For Holy Priests: Holy priests will get the most throughput out of Divine Hymn, as they generally have the highest spell power of any class of priests.
For Discipline Priests: If paired with an Inner Focus this spell will be free to cast, and have many critical heals. (Yes, heals do crit). These crits will apply Divine Aegis and place bubbles over everyone in the raid.
For Shadow Priests: Particularly useful in PvP, this is one of the few ways a Shadow Priest can effectively heal themselves and their group. In raids, a shadow priest's divine hymn would be unexpected and welcome help for overburdened healers at the end of a particularly difficult encounter.
Divine Hymn is a priest ability learned at level 78 for 20 40.
