Cloth

Cloth can mean a couple of things in World of Warcraft:

A type of ingredient item usually looted from humanoid mobs, but sometimes gathered with the Skinning profession from a skinnable sheep corpse resource. These items can usually be used mostly by the Tailoring profession after being processed into bolts.
A type of armor used by most fragile Class characters. The lowest armor for defense, even below Leather Armor.

Cloth armor[]

Cloth is the main component used for First Aid and Tailoring.

[Linen Cloth]	1-15	13 c	These sell for very cheap on the Auction House. If you are short on money, Ragefire Chasm and the Trogg mine east of Ironforge are good sources.	Worst cloth of WoW.
[Wool Cloth]	15-30	33 c	Extremely expensive at AH. Drops from Durnholde Keep. (Not in Caverns of Time.)
[Silk Cloth]	35-40	1 s 50 c	Centaurs and demons of Desolace are good source.	Normal silk (Not made by spiders)
[Mageweave Cloth]	45-50	2s50c	Furbolgs of Eastern Felwood and Zul'Farrak	Cloth, sewn with magic.
[Runecloth]	50-60	4s	Ogres of Deadwind Pass and Expedition Armory in Hellfire Peninsula.	These used to drop well from demons of Aszhara, but Blizzard nerfed the drop rates.
[Felcloth]	52-60	20s	Demons near Dark Portal at Blasted Lands.	Best cloth of Pre-BC. Drops from Demons instead of Humanoids.
[Mooncloth]	52-60	40s	Demons near Dark Portal at Blasted Lands.	You need 250 tailoring to craft these. Bring 2 pieces of Felcloth to a Moonwell, and use the purify Felcloth skill (Brought from Everlook)
Netherweave Cloth	60-70	8s	Mobs of Sunspring Post in Nagrand	Used in BC
Frostweave Cloth	70-80	12s 50c	Kill Beryl Treasure Hunters east of Amber Ledge.	The best cloth of Wotlk. If you are a tailor farming this, learning Northern Cloth Scavenging allows you to loot 3-7 extra cloth.
Embersilk Cloth	79-87	75c		The best cloth of and introduced in Cataclysm.
